Marucci Nightshift Mallard 12in Pitcher's Glove

The Nightshift: Mallard MFGNTSHFT-0306 is a standout glove designed for pitchers who prioritize comfort, durability, and refined craftsmanship. With its sleek and sophisticated design, this 12.00-inch glove combines advanced materials and ergonomic features to enhance the player’s experience on the mound.

Features:

• M Type Fit System: This fit system includes integrated thumb and pinky sleeves, with added thumb stall cushioning. These enhancements allow for a more secure and comfortable fit, helping players maintain control and reduce hand fatigue during long games.

• Two-Piece Closed Web: The glove's two-piece closed web provides both strength and privacy for pitchers who want to conceal their grip from batters, giving them a tactical advantage. The closed web also contributes to the glove's deep pocket, ideal for secure catches and efficient ball control.

• Cabretta Sheepskin Lining: The glove features a luxurious cabretta sheepskin lining on the interior, providing a soft, high-quality feel against the hand. This material also enhances comfort, ensuring that the glove remains pleasant to wear even in hot or high-pressure situations.

• Professional-Grade Rawhide Laces: The glove is laced with professional-grade rawhide laces, known for their superior tear resistance. This detail speaks to the glove’s overall durability and ensures it can endure the demands of high-level play without compromising on performance.

• Premium Japanese-Tanned USA Kip Leather: This glove is crafted from high-quality, Japanese-tanned USA Kip leather. Known for its strength and lightweight feel, this leather offers excellent structure and flexibility. Its durability is well-suited for frequent play, and its lightweight design allows for quicker reaction times.

• Shape and Pocket Depth: With a round shape and deep pocket, this model is perfect for pitchers. The deep pocket allows the ball to be cradled securely, while the round shape makes it easy to transfer the ball smoothly, making it versatile enough to be used by infielders who like a bit more depth in their glove.

• Moisture-Wicking Mesh Wrist Lining with Dual-Density Memory Foam Padding: To keep the player’s hand dry and comfortable, the glove incorporates moisture-wicking mesh in the wrist lining, combined with dual-density memory foam. This padding system absorbs and disperses impact, which is particularly valuable for pitchers, as it reduces stress on the hand during intense throws.

• Additional Features: The Nightshift: Mallard glove also includes an index finger hood for added comfort and protection, which is especially appreciated by pitchers. It’s available in both right-hand and left-hand throw configurations.
